|Following a chat about changes in wardrobe in 'A Study in Pink' vs. The Pilot episode|
|Steven Moffat:||[to Benedict about the shirts] It's a bit hard for you to breathe, explain that|
|Sue Vertue:||And Benedict you've got your purple shirt|
|Benedict Cumberbatch:||Yeah, that sexy purple shirt|
|Steven Moffat:||The purple shirt of sex, apparently|
Someone photoshop it please, I’m sure it’s already been done…
As you wish…
Good? Bad? Could do better?
Well, that’s just fantastic.
I was thinking Trollfat’s head on a bee body, but that works too.
OK, I fixed it
The fact that Sherlock becomes a beekeeper makes it even more perfect.
#this was cruel #to take a character and build him from a place that’s so small and dark and broken #to take him from a place where he had something to die because of and give him something to die for #to actually take his world and colour it meticulously bit by bit until he’s giggling in hallways #and then to take that away until he’s exactly where you found him #until to revert back to the way he was is the only thing he has left #TO TAKE HIM IN A PROGRESSION THAT’S A PHYSICAL CIRCLE #this show is run by assholes
Foreshadowing in A Study In Pink-
So I was going through screencaps of ASiP the other day, and I found this scene (that I had completely missed in the episode) that references directly to Reichenbach. The apple- I. O. U. and the mug- St Bart’s hospital, that Sherlock jumps off.
I have one thing to say.

mentioned the fez to Piers [Wenger] and I before he even wrote it. He said, “I’m thinking of putting Matt in a fez in episode 13.” And of course both Piers’ and my jaws hit the floor and went “A fez? You’re kidding me, you’re going to put Matt in a fez? If we put Matt in a fez, Matt will never take the fez off. He will want to wear the fez for the whole of the next series. It will be glued to his head. He’ll be wearing it, you know, with his own clothes. It will be a nightmare.” And he said, “No no, I’ve got a cunning plan; as soon as he’s got the fez I’m going to kill the fez.”

As soon as he’s got the fez I’m going to kill the fez.
“As soon as he’s got the fez, I’m going to kill the fez.”
And that, my friends, is Steven Moffat in one sentence.
